Carol Antoinette Peacock has been an author and psychologist for 30 years. She has written about adolescent girls, diabetes, adoption, the Pilgrims' voyage to America and children coping with grief and loss. Carol has now completed a middle grade novel about an 11-year old girl, Wen, who is adopted from a Chinese orphanage but must leave Shuling, her best friend behind. Wen promises that once she's in America, she'll find Shuling a family of her own. But can she keep her promise?
